I call at the old lane chippy quite often now it’s under new management it’s been given a new clean look. Same staff serving with new management. Updated and with a bench to sit on while waiting for fresh food preparation. A good selection on the menu including an Asian themed dishes and traditional chippy food to choose from. It’s worth calling in for some delicious meal and a friendly reception.

Absolutely fantastic find for us driving home from Preston, the food here was the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. The fish was cooked perfectly & fresh. 3 choices of curry! Unheard-of where we are from. Top guy let us sample the curry prior to purchase. Absolutely nothing to complain about well deserved Google rating. Gem in the middle of a council estate.

I'm from another town and come to visit family here and this chippy does the best fish for miles and miles around and all the other stuff i've tried to is really good and you get plenty of what you order, you won't be dissapointed if you try this chippy I promise you.
